The Political and Legislative Action Committee (PLAC) is pleased to release the Board of Directors Report Cards, a project we’ve been working on since November 2025. Thank you Tara Murino-Brault for the incredible graphic design. These report cards will be shared with members and on social media.
The main goal of the report cards is to raise awareness about how well the PCC Board of Directors support and represent the PCC community. Since they are elected officials, they need to be held accountable for their actions and decisions. The Board members who represent Zones 2, 3, and 7 will be up for election in May 2027, and Zones 1, 4, 5 and 6 will be up for election in May 2029. You can use this PCC Zone map to look up the district you live in.
For the past decade, Board members ran for their positions uncontested with low voter turnout. These report cards are part of an ongoing campaign to map and research our Board members and to find better candidates. We also want to highlight Board members who are union friendly and demonstrate care for PCC students and employees.
