The Political and Legislative Action Committee (PLAC) of the Portland Community College Federation of Faculty and Academic Professionals (PCCFFAP) is proud to announce our 2026 General Election endorsements. This includes candidates previously endorsed in the Primary Election who won their races.
These endorsements reflect our union’s commitment to building power for PCC workers and students, and for working people across Oregon. Through a member-driven process, we interviewed and evaluated candidates who share our values, demonstrate a commitment to public education and are ready to join us in our ongoing fight for fully funded colleges, fair working conditions and thriving communities.

How We Chose Our Endorsements
Our endorsement decisions for state and local offices in the November 2026 General Election are grounded in the voices of our members and guided by clear, values-based criteria. Candidates endorsed by PCCFFAP during the 2026 Primary Election automatically received our endorsement for the General Election. We prioritized candidates who:
- Share our values and vision for strong public institutions and thriving communities.
- Have demonstrated a commitment to standing with working people and the labor movement.
- Support raising revenue by ensuring wealthy individuals and large corporations pay their fair share.
- Will fight for fully funded higher education.
- Are committed to building long-term relationships that strengthen worker power across Oregon.
- Will elevate issues affecting higher education, faculty, and students in public discourse.
- Have demonstrated a willingness to support our members-from the picket line to the halls of government.
- Have earned the recommendation and support of PCCFFAP members.
