Mutual Aid Fund

The Executive Council has established a mutual aid fund as a tangible way to support PCCFFAP members who are in need of short-term financial assistance during difficult economic conditions, including work stoppages, or other job actions. Mutual aid is an act of solidarity, not charity. It is an effort to look out for one another, based on the understanding that in this social system, we need each other.

We know that financial burdens can cause stress, so the application process is straightforward and easy to navigate. Members can apply for up to $299/cycle in financial assistance to assist with economic hardship. All applications will be confidential.

Please apply if you are:

  • A dues paying member of PCC’s Federation of Faculty and Academic Professionals.
  • Experiencing financial hardship.

Support is available until funds are exhausted. Funds are currently capped at $23,000 of allocations per cycle and a member is limited to one $299 award per cycle. The open cycle ends on June 30, 2026.  If you have any questions, please contact Maureen Travers at  maureen.travers@pccffap.org
