We are thrilled to share with you that after three months of negotiating ground rules, PCC finally agreed to remote and in-person observers. Not only that, but they offered to record and post all bargaining meetings on the PCC intranet.
This is a historic level of transparency and accessibility for our union—progress that would not have been possible without members joining together and demanding an open, democratic bargaining process. You supported the open bargaining referendum, sent emails demanding open negotiations to the administrative bargaining team, and showed up both in person and online at bargaining on Friday. When we show up, we win!
Now the work begins!
Our issue tracker is now live. This is where we will post all of the proposals from FFAP and PCC. We will do our best to get these up in real time. You can email any of the bargaining team members or federation@pccffap.org if you have questions.
Also be sure to follow PCCFFAP on Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, and join the conversation with fellow union members on Discord. The bargaining team will try to post quick video updates at the conclusion of every bargaining meeting. You can check out Michelle DuBarry’s update from last Friday here.
