How We Chose Our Endorsements
Our endorsement decisions are grounded in the voices of our members and guided by clear, values-based criteria. We prioritized candidates who:
- Were recommended by PCCFFAP members
- Demonstrate alignment with our core values as labor and working-class fighters
- Support raising revenue by taxing the rich and corporations to fully fund education
- Are ready to build long-term relationships to strengthen worker power in Oregon
- Are running in critical races or open seats that help build capacity inside and outside the Oregon Legislature and other key offices
- Can advance public discourse around issues in Higher Education
- Show a clear commitment to supporting our union – including signing our Community Support Pledge and showing up to support us on strike lines or wherever public solidarity is needed
Building Power Together
These endorsements are not just about one election cycle – they are about building lasting partnerships and a stronger movement for public education and working people. We are proud to stand alongside candidates who recognize that the future of our colleges, our students, and our communities depends on collective action and sustained advocacy.
We encourage members to learn more about these candidates, get involved in their campaigns, and help elect leaders who will fight for fully funded education, fair workplaces, and economic justice for all.
Together, we organize. Together, we win. ✊
