Strike 2026

Faculty and academic professionals held the line together โ€” and won a fair contract.
We made history

When we fight, we win.

This was the longest, most grueling, most punishing round of bargaining we have ever faced โ€” and we faced it together, and we won. When the pressure came, we did not bend. We organized. We held the line.

Cost of living

2% upon ratification for FY 2025โ€“26 and 3% for FY 2026โ€“27.

Strike pay restored

A ratification lump sum restores wages lost to strike days.

Part-time pay

Part-time pay schedule ratio raised from 75% to 76%.

Health insurance

Higher monthly insurance contribution caps after ratification.

Messages from the Line

“My name is Bea Yeh (she/they) and I created these PCC Strike documentaries. I run a small organization called Luminous Together and our mission is to tend to the community by creating spaces to gather, play, & grow so that we can connect, learn, and nurture skills to build a just and equitable world. Luminous Together programs invite rest, connection, and rootedness, whether that be through forest bathing walks, immersive art worlds, or social practice creative works. I was honored to join the PCC Community on the line to support the strike by crafting these mini-docs centering the voices, stories, and heart of the amazing PCC educational community. Thank you for your courage, your leadership, and your dedication! You made history! UNION STRONG! Follow Luminous Together on IG to learn about our many community programs. www.luminous-together.com”
